Ferry? Boat? Emelie? Lotten? Lisen?
Ressel Rederi was commissioned by the City of Stockholm to traffic between Hammarby Sjöstad and Södermalm since the start of construction of the new district in 2000.
The trip is free of charge and traffic between the hours of 06:00 – 24:00pm (weekends 07-24) 365 days a year. Departures every 20 minutes (every 10 minutes during rush hour on weekdays at 07-09 and 16-18)
In 2015 we transported over 1.2 million passengers across the lake. Since its inception in 2000 we transported a total of more than 11 million passengers with our ferries.
The vessels plying named after Per Anders Fogel’s characters in “Heart of Darkness” Emelie, Lotten and Lille Nils that our paints naval units is a name taken from the book. Main Ships today M / S Lisen that runs 18 hours a day year round. During rush hour strengthens M / S Lotten on the route Barnängen – Henriksdal.
M / S Emelie run their own services on the route Hammarby Sjöstad – Masthamnen – Djurgården – Nybroplan but also acts as back-up vessels and icebreakers for Lisen and the lot under severe winter conditions.
